The Challenge
Product strategies stall without a shared, testable direction
2005–2007
Lerpal is founded. Small team, big ambitions: software should be built with clarity, speed, and ownership. Early projects include working on content systems support for “R.R. Bowker”.
2008
Our major long-term collaboration with The Hill begins. What starts as a newsroom platform grows into a decade-plus relationship built on trust and consistent delivery.
2010–2015
Lerpal grows with just referrals, word-of-mouth and returning clients. Architecture focused on all-in-one systems: robust, but increasingly rigid.
2016
Credibly joins as a client. We dive into complex fintech systems, redesigning the backend to support compliance, scalability, and future growth.
2019
We begin working with Aisle Planner, right before the world shuts down. Even during COVID, the collaboration continued. We embraced distributed systems, designing independent components that could scale, evolve and operate on their own.
2020
Hearst partners with Lerpal to launch new digital products for large-scale audiences. During COVID we managed not only to hold the line, but grow despite constant business turbulence.
2021–2023
More long-term, multi-team partnerships across media, publishing, and marketplace platforms. Our delivery becomes more modular, flexible, and built to reduce frustration as products evolve.
2024–2025
We work on expanding our core capabilities in mobile development, business analysis, prototyping, and DevOps, focused on solving hard problems without the fluff.
