Long story short: it was big, loud, well-organised, full of interesting companies presented and dedicated people worth meeting. And yes, the boxing robot (that we think had Usyk as his inspiration) might still be one of our favourite memories.
Now to the details.
The opening keynotes felt like a stadium show with all the screens, perfect seating logic and broad speech topics. No questions here – it felt and looked very impressive.
As polished as the main stage was, the real thing was happening in the hall. It turned out to be the heartbeat of the conference: networking zone, endless tables and coffee on hand. Plus an app that actually worked, pinging you right when it was time to head to the next meeting. Thank you, Ai4 Vegas!
People. People are the best part. Conversations happened everywhere: sometimes planned, often accidental. A chat about motorcycles here, a chance meeting with someone from London there. Those moments ended up being just as valuable as formal sessions.
A few things could have been smoother: the early wrap times felt like missed opportunities when networking was just hitting its stride, and getting contact lists earlier would have helped maximize those first-day connections. But honestly, these felt like the kind of details you only notice when everything else is running so well. Overall it delivered what we came for: a mix of structure and spontaneity that makes those packed days in the desert worth it.
The conference is over, but the impressions will last, and so will the memory of a robot boxing in the hallway. If that’s not the very essence of Vegas, then we don’t know what is!
